We left Russia behind us today, crossing into Kazakhstan, to be welcomed by slick blue-shirted helpers from our agents, Kyrgyz Concept, and with good roads and easy run, we made it by mid-afternoon into Semey. The border was a slick affair – our local helpers delivered what they had promised, much to everyone’s relief.
